There are so many kinds of tags that can be used to enhance any part of a layout, Use them for journalling, hang them from eyelets through a photo mat, embellishment them with anything you can imagine and place them to accent your page. Stamp on them, chalk them, put letters on them, add punched shapes, paper piecing, stickers, fibres - let your imagination run riot and have fun.

If you are going to add ties to tags, it's a good idea to reinforce the hole. You can -
1. Make your own reinforcements by using cardstock and a small circle punch. Punch a smaller hole in the center of the circle and then attach it to your tag and add a tie. It doesn't necessarily have to be a circle, try a flower or square punch.
2. Use eyelets or buttons

Try adding a photo straight onto a tag. Cut a piece of cardstock into a tag shape, mat your photo with a different coloured cardstock, mulburry, vellum, fabric, and place onto the tag.
