Slide
mounts
These are a fabulous
new embellishment for scrapbookers to enhance their pages with. They lie flat
against the page and come in a great range of colours. Glue
dots are an ideal adhesive to use with slide mounts.
Some of
the things you can use them for:-
- Use to frame
a small photo or a portion of a photo (once the photo is cropped to the correct
size, adhere the photo to the back of the slide mount using glue dots).
- Frame a
word or a title on your page.
- Frame and
emphasise a small embellishment on your page for example a charm
or buttons.
- Adhere
to your page and then stamp an image onto the cardstock in the middle of the
slide mount.
- Put alphabet
beads into the centre of the slide mount to make a unique title.
- Frame small
photos from your index prints.
- Use on
top of a larger photo to emphasis a certain area of the photo.
- Wrap
a slide mount with fibres
for a unique frame.
- Use
magic mesh behind
a slide mount for a textured look.
- When
framing a small photo with a slide mount adhere vellum
on top of the photo for a softer look.
