You will need the following supplies to add eyelets to your layout:
Eyelet(s) from
Kiwiscraps
Hammer
Anywhere Hole Punch
Eyelet Setter
Cutting mat
Hard surface
1. First make pencil marks where you want the eyelets to go. Leave the card stock or other item right-side up on a cutting mat.
2. Place the tip of the anywhere hole punch around your marked dot. Then tap the hammer on the end of the hole punch, holding the hole punch straight up and down. You may have to tap a few more times if you are working with heavier cardstock or with several layers. When you remove the hole punch there should be a hole right through the item.
3. Insert the eyelet through the hole, making sure the tube end comes through to the back of your item.
4. Turn your project over and place it top down on to your cutting mat. Be sure the tube end is straight up.
5. Place the tip of your eyelet setter into the back of the eyelet, hold the setter in place, straight up and down and tap a couple times with the hammer until the sides start to flatten.
6. Once your eyelets have flattened out a little, they usually still are pretty bulky. Give them a couple of taps with the hammer to flatten them out more, and to protect the page behind it in the album.
